In September of 2016 I stumbled upon an opportunity to take part in a self development program. The program, The master key mastermind program, was introduced to me through a colleague from a previous work situation. He mentioned a bit about what he was doing and how it was expanding his mind and improving his outlook. I was intrigued because he was already someone I respected greatly and I figured if someone like him could improve, then it was something I was interested in as well. The decision to pursue the opportunity came after some serious consideration and it's led to a ton of new ideas, exercises, and beliefs. It's been challenging, exhilarating, and enlightening. Reading the material and implementing the ideas has  led to many instances where I've realized I'd been living the idea, but not completely and in places incorrectly. I've learned that self confidence is terrific, but relying completely on your own self confidence will invariably lead to stagnation. I've also learned that faith, and deciding to let go and trust is the way to success. Your thoughts will lead you to what you want if you trust them and follow them. Staying positive and chasing away the negativity and skepticism in your thoughts is the number one way to ensure that can happen. The law of substitution is a wonderful tool for eliminating those negative thoughts and in turn remembering wonderful times in your life. A two-fold benefit. I do struggle with replacing those negative thoughts quick enough, but it's fun to challenge myself to do it better and quicker. I'm excited for the day it becomes second nature and automatic. I'm looking forward to consistent positivity. The journey continues and the support from my guide and Mark K and Davene are instrumental in keeping me engaged and on track for success.
